Hi Peeps,
Sorry another quickie, promise I will be back in full swing soon. Crazy times here!!
Our wonderfully talented Samra from Anything But Cute has chosen a mood board and theme:
SUMMER ROMANCE
For this challenge, Samra would love to see projects with a romantic theme a beach/sea theme or both, BUT they must be strongly inspired by the colours of the mood board.
For this challenge you MUST display our graphics badge in your post along with our blog name and challenge link.
I love sea shells, so felt really drawn to my unused-Spellbinders Shell Beauty embossing folder. The opportunity was perfect! I adore sea themes and this mood was just a delight.
I created this card for some family that are moving down our way more from London to be closer to the sea. They haven't mood yet, but they are sold and they have an offer accepted so hopefully won't be long now.
I used Dusty Attic chipboard for the netting, some Prima embellies (feathers and sign), Prima die-cut Lace Leaves and some beautiful Ecolines for the background of the shells.
Top Tip :) - When embossing with this folder - put metal tape along the paper, emboss and then gesso. That way the paper holds its shape when applying lots of yummy paint!!
Anyway got to dash..., and apologies if I haven't been around the last few days, I'll be checking in Sunday Evening/Monday, if I can't get in before.
Hugs
Georgie xx

What a perfect card to give to your family who is moving near the sea! I love the Ecoline paints on the shell background! They work so well together, and I've got both of them on my list. Great embellishments to compliment, too! I hope things are going your way at the home front! Hugs to you!
