New Home Card Plus Box (Prima Challenge)

Hey

I wanted to have a go at the Prima Challenge for this month, the bright colours of their mood board, for me, echoed their gorgeous Garden Fable range.

I've wanted to try a card with box to match for awhile now. What a great idea for our cards that contain embellishments that are raised off the page! Such a great way to present them and keep them safe.

Lots of layers, with paints, stencils, pastes, stamping, then chipboard from the Garden Fable range, cheesecloth (this is my go to for creating softness), and some lovely Prima flowers.

Loving this stencil pattern! I adore stencils, they always add so much to a project either in a subtle way or bright and bold!

Just a touch of background stamping.

These flowers (Purity), are ideal for colouring to adapt it to your own project too.

Pulled out some older line Prima brads,  have missed playing with these too :)

 Such sunny, summer tones :)

Hope you're having a lovely day, wherever in the world you may be!

'Moments' Layout

Hello!

If you've popped on over from the IndigoBlu Blog, thank you for stopping by to see my work and as always massive hugs to my lovely followers!

I created a layout using the lovely new Indigo Blu Roses Stencil with their Coarse Modelling Paste, look at the wonderful texture it creates.

My inspiration for the layout came from a couple of places. I love the look of the Dusty Attic mood board this month, what gorgeous hues of pink! And also, from the More Than Words Challenge. I have not had the chance to enter over there yet so I figured it was time to try. (Their challenge pics and links will follow later today)

A mixture of English Cottage Acrylic paints in Cinderella, Marshmallow, Iced Gem, Hot Cocoa and Pheasant Bronze.

The paints are perfect for Painting the Dusty Attic Chipboard, I find that you don't even need to prime them with these paints you can go straight on without gesso! Brilliant!!

Have a lovely day and I'll be adding my link ups later.

Luna Dreams

Hello!

Over at Mixed Media World it is time for a new challenge and this month we have the theme:

Glam-Grunge

Here is my take on this month's theme:

This a Tim Holtz journal - and I thought it was high time I crack open some of my older dies that I fell in love with but hardly use - so this is a little blast from the past too!

Lots of details built up with paste, stencils and crackle, then, micro beads, seed beads and glitter.

Love creating texture like this! This part is the edge of the moon with the micro beads swamped in to the paste.

And finally lets not forget the back! I'm not completely happy with this but I can always come back to it again. No doubt as the journal fills it will get an aged look!

Cheers hunies
