Tim's Tags of 2015 - March

Yay!! I have finally managed to get round to doing my first Tim Tag for this year - happy dance!!

I followed Tim's methods and techniques, which can be found here for his Tim's Tags of 2015 for March. His tag is gorgeous btw!!!

I chose to use my new Runway Stamps by Tim Holtz, which I have been sat on for awhile and desperate to use!! I LOVE them :)

I made this tag to remember that we must accept who we are no matter what people think... We are all imperfect, but that is the BEAUTY of us. Imperfection is precious and sets us all apart from each other but unites us all at the same time. No matter who puts us down they are not perfect either. This is the reason for the woman, the word band, chit chat stickers and beautiful (but made shabby and 'imperfect') things on the tag.

I used Lindy's embossing powder on the texture paste as I wanted a colour that would match the soft feminine colours behind (Antique Linen, Tattered Rose,  Bundled Sage, Victorian Velvet, Tumbled Glass Distress Paints) and reflect the mood of the woman - she's chic, she's strong, she's fabulous and she's different!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look. I love having you all here :)
Hugs

  11. Wow, Georgie! I think this is the most creative tag I've seen, with meaning that resonates with me. First, "embrace imperfection is my favorite mantra; second I am one so uncomfortable with my looks, I won't have a photo taken, third I need to constantly remind myself what your summary sentence says...not the chic part, tho:). Your texture paste/embossing is just yummilicious! And the background colors are fabulous, too! I only have one of those colors; sad, because I would have liked to give the color palette a try! Georgie, I think this is the winning tag! I've got my fingers crossed for you! (And me, too, of course! Hee, Hee!)Hugs!

  15. The runway stamp was such a perfect choice Georgie, she looks so elegant and I love the wonderful tones you used to create the background - great choices. I also love the sentiments behind your creation, I think they resonate with a lot of us who might be unhappy with out looks, or weight, or confidence - whatever (and those are just mine!). Beautiful work, as always. Hugs, Anne xx
