My last couple of pages have been very calm and muted, so for this picture I wanted to create something with a little more colour.
I'm still very new to scrapbooking, but each time I'm learning something new and enjoying the crafty journey.
This time I chose a photo of my husband and son, in a soft focus, black and white picture. I thought it was perfect as it reflects the the true softie that my husband really is and the fact that he is an amazing father.
For this page I followed a layout I found on Pinterest but added my own twist as well. I made the bigger flowers using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die and some coordinating Prima papers, the leaves using the Spellbinders Die.
I've used some Prima treasures again, the cherub with a little bird, and a butterfly.
The clocks were from this gorgeous little magazine called Daphne's Diary, they put little cut outs in there - very cute and very handy for us crafters!
My usuals (I have usuals now!! :) ) are in there. Jute, twine, cheese cloth, dry wall tape, stencils.
Hope you like :) x
Beautiful layout - the flowers are lovely, and all that shabby chic texture is gorgeous.
