(Inked the background with Worn Jeans and White to create a dappled water effect going across the page)
I took my inspiration from the Prima BAP (Build A Page) this month and with my fast growing stash of their Seashore range I had plenty of products to do this.
I loved letting go and using and abusing my Prima goodies (I usually hoard them and think they're too pretty to use - am I crazy?!). I have loads of their resins for this collection and this has to be my favourite line from Prima.
I used a cheese cloth which I stretched and sprayed with Prima Bloom Spray in Pearl White. Then intertwined it with the resin shells, crabs and a seahorse. These were first paired with the Prima Chalk Fluid Ink Pads in Dusty Attic, Worn Jeans and Turquoise Stone.
I used one of the Prima Road Signs 'Your Path', as it just fitted so perfectly. He made his own path to the sea, so brave and bold considering two weeks before he was terrified, screaming and pleading not to be anywhere near it, but he left the holiday in awe of it.
I used Prima flowers from various sets, Songbird, Something Blue and Seashore. I also used those lovely sparkling gems Say It In Crystals Adhesive Gems from the Seashore set.
Here are some more close ups:
My Prima resin stash will now need a happy top up lol...
Thanks so much for looking, have a cheery day/night!! :)

DeleteYou are not crazy at all, I do exactly the same with Tim stuff - I hate opening the packets.....
ReplyDeleteYour layout is stunning, I love how you put that wash of colour across the page, the embellishments are just lush and the seahorse has stolen my heart - he is adorable. The cheesecloth is a perfect addition too and as for the flowers - wow. Beautiful, just beautiful! Hugs, Anne xx
The seahorse is amazing, I love the whole seashore resin collection, well the whole collection... I'm hooked!! I knew you would like the seahorse... originally your thank you card was going to have that seahorse in the middle, (that was my plan after that stunning Tim Holtz tag you did), the delivery just took far too long to turn up. :( Thank you for your lovely comment and always popping over to look at my creations xx
DeleteBreathtaking! This whole page is stunning and I could (should) take longer here! I know! I'll come back when I get home! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris :), hope you're having a lovely time. I love that picture of the tame squirrel on your post, that is just the sweetest thing!
DeleteThis is so beautifully put together, the chicken wire stencilling, use of cheesecloth and all those yummy prima embellies, not to mention the perfect colour choice.....ooh and the touch of shimmer and glitter on the flowers, and a delightful photo.....I love it!!! Ruth x
ReplyDeleteThank you Ruth, you are always so kind. I did get 'trigger happy' with the embellies - it was the original idea - but by the end I think I had every Prima pack I own open and just going for it, lol xx
