Butterfly Utopia!!

Hello my lovelies!! (Just a quick-ish post)

Thanks for popping in and taking a look at this weeks projects for Crafty Gals Corner Challenge.

This week is Bingo week (aka Tic Tac Toe), we had to choose three from a bingo grid (pic below) and apply them to a project with our chosen images.

I chose the butterflies from Deedee's Digis Fluttering By, and straight away I knew how I wanted to use them :)

A lot of the time you see digis as being the centre of card or the main focal point, but I wanted to showcase them in a style that they can be used to help enhance other projects.

Lots of gesso, stencils, paints, silks and die cuts were used in making this. I wanted lots of colours and shimmer, but I couldn't get the camera to pick up the depth of colour and shimmer. This was the best shot I could get out of 200+ photos :)

Just make sure you let us know which three you are using in your project!

Our sponsors this week are:

Prize: $10 Gift Certificate

AND

Prize: 3 Digital Images or 1 digital set

Remember it can be any kind of project that incorporates three in a row from the grid above, it doesn't have to be cards and you don't have to use digis to enter :)

Have a very lovely Wednesday
Georgie xx

  7. Georgie, your work just gets more stunning each time I visit your blog, if that is even possible! The colors are fabulously shabby and romantic, the flower is gorgeous, and the butterflies are the perfect delicate touch. I love how you tore back the paper to reveal the fabulous sentiment. Boy, I would have liked to be a fly on the wall of your craft room when you put this lovely creation together! Hugs!
