Bling Splat CAS Card!! ***Bling Challenge*** SBPhD

Good Morning!! It's bright and gorgeously sunny here in the UK (or at least it is where I am). Shame about the rotten cold I have, which is starting to feel worryingly like a sinus infection too. We are a poorly household right now, so if I've been a little quiet in blogland that is why. My son, the proverbial bull in a china shop, is very cuddly and quiet, but when life gives you lemons.... make the most of the cuddles!! :)

Over at ScrapbookerPhD the challenge this month is ***BLING***

Super easy, just make sure whatever project you're working on has some bling somewhere, be it rhinestones, gumdrops, glitter etc :)

I really wanted to try and incorporate my new Tim Holtz Scribbles and Splats die, and then it hit me... lets bling up the splat!! :) But keep it CAS, if that is at all possible with bling?!

I've been quite enjoying making a few CAS cards recently, although my heart certainly lies with mixed media for sure. However, there is something really satisfying about those clean lines and the overall 'neatness' of CAS.

So if you've got some bling going on come and enter it at ScrapbookerPhD, the sponsor is The Buckle Boutique. They are known for their rhinestone covered sheets that cuts like a dream for crafting products. The winner of this challenge will win TWO sheets of Rhinestone Paper for crafting, this is a fabulous prize so you don't want to miss out.

Have a fabulous Thursday my lovelies - I'll be on my blogland travels again soon.
Hugs

  3. How elegant does your CAS splat look!!! Superb card Georgie.

Opposite ends of the spectrum, CAS / Mixed Media. They are my two loves when creating. CAS for me is like defragging my brain's hard which needs to be done on a regular basis.

Hope you all feel much better very soon and Congrats on winning the last Speed Craft Challenge prize:-) xxx
