WOYWW 281

Here is my WOYWW today :)

Here is my (makeshift) desk in all its splendour...

Haha... just a tad bit messy, been working in my new(ish) art journal - a pressie from the hubs :)

Experimenting with some Prima Colour Bloom Sprays and the Prima lace flower ribbon. It's not a finished page, in fact no where near but this is where I am with it so far, not sure how it will end up but I'm learning to embrace not being control with art.

Got a lot on my crafty list and a little boy who is very eager to help and is insisting on wearing two hats (cannot believe how much character he has...) so back to an afternoon of fun :)

Thanks for looking :) xxx

  6. Georgie, gosh I love those colours and the flowers, real autumn glories,
That little fella is smashing, nothing wrong with wearing 2 hats, my grandson used to do that too, bless him.
Thanks for sharing and popping by my desk.

  7. What a dear little boy with his two hats, bless him! I love your beautiful art journal, and what a lovely desk you've got, so full of industry and creativity.

Thanks for your visit and your nice comment, Georgie, and in answer to your questions, the bee is a stamp from the Stamptique Originals range, and the double ended brushes are Inkylicious Ink Dusters - they are the most awesome thing for blending distress inks! They are a lot softer and gentler than normal ink blending tools and you can build up the colour as gradually as you like. I love them! I am glad you like my felt.

    Happy WOYWW,

  9. Hi Georgie! What a wonderful and vibrant page spread! Gorgeous colours. Your little one is so adorable! :)
Thank you for a sweet message, I'm struggling, but am slowly getting there. It's now a week and a half and I'm starting to see changes, it's still painful though. Well, if you need to talk about how it went and if you ever reconsider you know where to find me :) Hugs, Ingrid xx

  10. Lovely colours in your journal! I use cheap watercolour paper to collect the overspray, so as not to waste it :)
