Bo Bunny Layout

Hello to my newest followers, so glad you could join me here and thank you. I will hop round to you all soon too :) xx

Over at Bo Bunny they are having their January Sketch Challenge and I really wanted to give it a go. If you're new to scrapbooking this is a great one as you can make it as simple or complicated as you like!!

I opted for the simpler version as I didn't want it to get too messy or too over done, so no paint other than a bit of white gesso on the roses for extra depth. Can't believe I left those paint brushes alone!!!

Here is the sketch:

So pretty isn't it!

Some close ups:

I used The Avenues paper collection by Bo Bunny and originally I was going for very vintage but when selecting the papers I just fell for this colour combo.

Anyway this is just a quickie, thanks for stopping by and wherever you are in the world have a lovely morning/afternoon/evening/ or... goodnight and sleep tight :)

* Edit - The pic is of my son at two months(ish) old and of my Mother in Law who passed away last year. She was the kindest person, ever!!! She had so much love to give in everything she did, hence my sentiment :)

Hugs
Georgie

  3. This is a very pretty layout! Your papers, flowers, and stitching look fabulous! You didn't say who the beautiful lady and baby are but this looks like a very special page! I have not done any scrapbooking (yet), so this layout looks very daunting to me. I checked out Bobunny's site - thank you for the link! Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

I need to apologize to you because I accidentally deleted your comment on my step-by-step post!! I'm a dingleberry and don't want you to think I did it on purpose! It was a lovely comment and I so appreciated your kind words, so please don't hold my stupidity against me! lol
