Ten Tiny Toes Scrapbook Page

Just a little 8 x 8 scrapbook page :) I was looking through my photos over the holidays and realised I never scrapped an ultrasound picture of my son! So I am remedying this straight off in 2015!!

Albeit this one is of his foot, but I thought it was so sweet and could never stop looking at it whilst I was pregnant.

This whole page was inspired by many wonderful blogs and I thought I would see if I could incorporate as many as possible within it.

- The layout for this one is inspired by C'est Magnifique
- The colours by House of Cards and Prima
- The angel by Mixed Media Place - Wings
- Trying something new at Country View Challenges
- Memories Challenge at WOW - inspiration for which photo to pick.

(Actually by doing this, I found I was 'reined in' more. I have a tendency to throw everything in to a project and then cut back, but right from the start I could see it from the beginning and knew what I wanted to achieve. So this is something new and something I will be doing again. I can imagine if you've lost creative mojo this sort of plan will give you a good kick start again.)

Here's a couple of close up images of the mixed media goodness included:

(photo missing, test shot before I attached it lol, but I like the detail that was caught)

Et voila... Just need to do one of him as a whole but I may save that until Spring.

I won't go into huge detail on this as I could be here forever, but any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for popping by
Georgie xx

  4. Hi Georgie. I'm finally, finally getting around to everyone's blogs. So sorry it's taken me so long, but with overseas family visiting and the holidays, I just didn't have a moment to myself - not that I'm complaining as I really enjoy family visits :-) I love what you did with this page layout. It's absolutely beautiful. All the details you added, wow! So glad to be on the Crafty Gals DT with you!

They have really come a long way with that, too! Such detail in those tiny feet! Sweet! If only they could stay that little:)!

  10. Just caught up with the last of your beautiful creations.....delightful! Have I understood correctly, that you are using a light box to help take your photos???

    1. Hi Ruth, I do have a light box now. I first tried the tent but it's completely wasted unless you have the lights. So, I got a light box with the acrylic body and built in light strips. It's great for cards and small things but not for pages like this. This one I had to photograph in natural light still. Thing with the light box is you have to find the right aperture on the camera I believe. Once you do you're all set for anything else. I'm still trying to find it, but I'm sure I'm getting close :) I did my close ups for this in the light box xx
